UUM CAS welcomes 306 postgraduate students for the first trimester of 2024/2025

SINTOK: Awang Had Salleh Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (AHSGS), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) has successfully enrolled 306 new postgraduate students for the first trimester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The notable intake comprises 288 students at the Sintok campus, along with 18 students from the offshore programme in Kuching, affiliated with the School of Applied Psychology, Social Work and Policy (SAPSP).

The registration period, which took place from 11 to 19 September, 2024, was seamless, reflecting the university’s commitment to delivering exceptional services to its new cohort of students.

AHSGS conducted a comprehensive briefing session during the orientation. This session provided crucial insights into campus facilities, academic resources, and overall university experience, equipping students with the necessary knowledge they need to succeed.

Prof. Dr. Yahya Don, the Dean of AHSGS, delivered an inspiring opening address during the orientation. He emphasized the importance of dedication, innovation, and perseverance in the quest for knowledge.
