KUALA LUMPUR, 1 July 2025: Universiti Utara Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Campus proudly hosted an online session titled “Beyond Acceptance: Strategies for High-Impact Scientific Publishing”, featuring none other than the esteemed and prolific Prof. Ts. Dr. Norazah Mohd Suki.
Drawing from her extensive expertise in scholarly publishing, Prof. Norazah captivated participants with her rich insights. She provided practical strategies to help researchers go beyond simply getting published – to producing work that delivers real academic impact.
A striking highlight of the session was the revelation that 65% of article rejections are due to poorly written introductions. This statistic served as a powerful reminder of the importance of crafting clear, compelling, and well-structured opening sections.
The session also covered crucial aspects such as aligning manuscripts with the appropriate journal scopes, observing ethical publication practices, and adopting effective submission strategies.
Participants gained valuable insights and left the session feeling both informed and inspired to elevate the quality and influence of their academic writing.
Heartfelt appreciation goes to Prof. Azah for her generosity in sharing her knowledge, her clarity in delivery, and her unwavering encouragement. May this session continue to spark excellence in research and scholarly publication among the academic community.
