Professor Norazah Ranked Among World’s Top 5,000 Scientists
KUALA LUMPUR: Prof. Ts. Dr. Norazah Mohd Suki has consistently been recognised as one of the “World’s Top 2% Scientists” by Stanford University and Elsevier, United States, since 2019.
The latest edition of the ‘World’s Top 2% Scientists’ list features an impressive 223,154 researchers from around the world, categorised by their impact for the year 2023.
The esteemed Professor of Marketing and E-Business at the Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), holds an impressive rank of 5,216 among the world’s leading scientists. She was also honoured in the Lifetime Impact category.
A remarkable total of 769 researchers from Malaysia are recognised in the Impact Based on Year 2023 category, with Professor Norazah proudly holding the top position in the marketing sub-field.
“Praise be to Allah, I am truly honoured to be acknowledged as one of the ‘World’s Top 2% Scientists 2023’. This level of excellence is achieved through unwavering persistence, hard work, and steadfast commitment to research and publication in prestigious high-impact journals.

The ranking takes into account a range of comprehensive international academic performance metrics, including the volume of high-impact publications, journal impact factor, total citations, and researcher h-index.
She has authored over 300 research papers, achieving a SCOPUS h-index of 35, underscoring the significant impact of her high-quality research.
UUM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Foad Sakdan, described this prestigious accolade as a significant reinforcement of UUM’s position on the global map of scientific research excellence, thereby elevating both the university’s and the nation’s reputation on the international stage.
