UUM MBM Programme join Top 2% Best Business Programme in the world with AMBA Accreditation

KUALA LUMPUR, 2 December 2024: In a significant achievement, OYAGSB has been awarded the prestigious accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) for its Master in Business Management (MBM) programme. This great news has been announced during the AMBA & BGA Asis Pacific Conference 2024, take place at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur on 25 till 27 November 2024.

The prestigious certificate has been presented by AMBA & BGA CEO, Mr. Andrew Main Wilson to Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohd Fo’ad Sakdan, UUM Vice Chancellor in the presence of Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & International), Prof. Dr. Mohd Azizuddin Mohd Sani and Prof. Dr. Hassan Abu Bakar, Dean of OYAGSB.

This makes OYAGSB the first institution in Malaysia to receive AMBA accreditation for non-MBA programme, a mark of excellence in global business education. In this year conference, Mr. Andrew Main Wilson announced that only 2% of business programme received AMBA accreditation making the UUM MBM programme as one of the highest standards of postgraduate business education.

This is a manifestation of OYAGSB and UUM commitment to quality, rigor, and relevance in business education. It is granted to only the top 2% of business schools worldwide, and OYAGSB are part of elite group of institutions whose business programmes meet AMBA’s stringent criteria.

“We are very much honoured with the AMBA accreditation for our MBM programme, apart from our MBA programme that has been accredited since 2015” said Prof. Dato’ Dr. Foad Sakdan.
