Nigeria: APC governors express faith in Tinubu’s capacity to transform Nigeria
ABUJA: Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which is now in power, have expressed confidence in Asiwaju Bola Tinubu President-elect having the ability to lead the nation.
He also said the majority of people have praised him for his patriotism, nationalism, fearlessness, and courage.
In a greeting delivered to the President-elect on the celebration of his 71st birthday, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, the governor of Kebbi state, said this year’s birthday falls soon after Nigerians gave you their passionate and free-will mandate to govern our nation.
“Your nationalism, bravery, daring, and patriotism have all been praised by the majority,” he added.
It is a fitting birthday tribute that you will be Nigeria’s next president, and even as you take some much-needed time to contemplate everything that has to be done, everyone is responding positively to your vision of a Nigeria that will take its rightful place among the nations of the world.
“We join you in praying for a better future for you, your family, and our country as you celebrate today.
“I am grateful for your warm remarks and am really moved by how much you care and support me. I thank God Almighty above all else for the life He has given me and for all the doors and chances He has opened for me along the way, he said.
“I won’t go so far as to say that I am entitled to any birthday presents this year because such a luxury has already been bestowed upon me.
“The best gift has already been given to me. chance to take charge and fulfill one’s destiny. a chance to stand up for your goals and create the Nigeria of your dreams,” he added.
Abubakar Atiku said he will take this day as a chance to reaffirm my dedication to the enormous and crucial mission of rebuilding our country and restoring the hope of the Nigerian people.
“I ran a vigorous campaign and made significant pledges.
“The assurances weren’t just empty platitudes made glibly or cynically to gain support. They stand for a connection that ties me to the mission of improving Nigeria for the good of any Nigerian whether or whether you cast a ballot for me, every Nigerian.
“I will succeed because I have spent my entire life preparing for this moment,” he declared.
