NPC Team’s Visit to EU in Nigeria
NIGERIA: National Population Commission (NPC) of Nigeria had declared 3 May to be the date for starting the National Population and Housing Census.
NPC Chairman, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, and his team paid a courtesy visit to the EU in Nigeria and were welcomed by the Team Leader/Head of the Human Development Department, Leila Ben Amor Mathieu at the Common Embassy Complex, Abuja, in an effort to mobilize more support for the #2023Census.
The NPC has already commenced the training program for the participant to conduct the Census.
In ensuring the smoothness of the process, the UN House in Abuja, UNFPA Nigeria delivered laptops and accessories to the commission in support of the 2023 Census Post Enumeration Survey (PES) as part of efforts to give assistance and assure reliable data in the upcoming Population and Housing Census.
