ALOR SETAR, 8 March 2026 — His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, Raja Muda of Kedah and Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), graciously granted an audience to the Vice-Chancellor of UUM, Prof. Dr Ahmad Martadha Mohamed, at Wisma Darulaman this morning.
The audience was held to enable Prof. Dr Ahmad Martadha Mohamed to formally introduce himself following his appointment as Vice-Chancellor of UUM by the Minister of Higher Education, effective 16 December 2025.
During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor apprised His Royal Highness of several upcoming university events, including the 39th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Utara Malaysia and the Raja Muda Cup – Junior Open Golf Championship.
In addition, Prof. Dr Ahmad Martadha sought the gracious consent of His Royal Highness, in his capacity as Pro-Chancellor, to attend the Raja Muda Cup – Junior Open Golf Championship 2026, which is proposed to be held next August. His Royal Highness is expected to present prizes to the players during the closing ceremony of the tournament.
