Maybank CEO Champions People-Centred Transformation in Session with UUM

Its President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Khairussaleh Ramli, emphasised that transformation goes beyond the introduction of new technologies or system overhauls. It also involves shifting mindsets, evolving work culture, and reinforcing shared values.

According to him, ‘Humanising Financial Services’ is a core principle at Maybank. It guides not only how customers are served but also how these principles are applied within the context of university governance and public service.

“When our goals are clearly defined and our values are aligned, we not only attain operational success, but also foster trust and create a lasting social impact.

“In addition, it is crucial to investment in human capital, where talent must be continuously nurtured, through lifelong learning, fostering a culture of innovation and providing a balanced and healthy work ecosystem,” he shared during a knowledge-sharing session with key office bearers of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) at EDC-UUM today.
