UUM strengthens collaboration with Pos Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR, 20 January 2025: Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), through the Management and Leadership Case Study Centre (PKKPK), Centre for University-Industry Collaboration (CUIC), and Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), recently paid a courtesy visit to Pos Malaysia’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.
Director of PKKPK, Assoc. Prof. Dr Narentheren Kaliappen said, the visit aimed to advance strategic collaborations and explore new partnership opportunities between UUM and Pos Malaysia.
During the visit, Mr. Anil Nair, Head of Talent Attraction & Onboarding, highlighted the company’s innovative strategies and operational excellence. His presentation reaffirms Pos Malaysia’s commitment to positioning itself as a forward-thinking and impactful organization.
The discussions during the visit centred on several potential collaborative initiatives. These included workshops and case study writing to enhance practical learning, industrial visits to provide UUM students with firsthand exposure to Pos Malaysia’s operations and internship opportunities to equip students with valuable industry experience.
Academic collaboration was also explored, with a focus on fostering knowledge exchange through joint programs and research initiatives.
The discussions reflected a shared commitment to promoting innovation, learning, and mutual growth, aligning perfectly with UUM’s strategic vision. Moving forward, UUM is eager to translate these discussions into actionable projects that will inspire students, empower professionals, and drive innovative solutions.
