DVCRI roadshow reviews infrastructure and infostructure at OYAGSB KL

KUALA LUMPUR, 11 May 2026: Universiti Utara Malaysia’s (UUM) Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Professor Dr Ram Al-Jaffri Saad, conducted a strategic roadshow visit to the Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB), Kuala Lumpur campus on 23 April 2026.
The visit focused on evaluating the campus’s infrastructure and infostructure to ensure that its physical facilities, digital systems, and operational support mechanisms remain effective in supporting academic delivery, research activities, and institutional development.

The roadshow was attended by OYAGSB’s management team, academic staff, and administrative personnel providing a valuable platform for direct engagement on matters relating to campus facilities, digital accessibility, operational requirements, and areas requiring immediate attention and improvement.
During the session, Datuk Professor Ts. Dr Norazah Mohd Suki, Deputy Dean (Academic and International), presented an overview of OYAGSB Kuala Lumpur’s academic infrastructure and digital infostructure. Her presentation highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen digital platform integration, improve facility-related support systems, enhance research processes, and identify priority improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency and institutional readiness.
Professor Dr Ram Al-Jaffri Saad emphasised the importance of timely and strategic enhancements to both the physical and digital ecosystem of the campus in supporting the School’s long-term aspirations.

“Immediate improvements to infrastructure and infostructure are essential in supporting OYAGSB’s growth as a premier business school with strong research capabilities and academic excellence,” he said.
The visit also highlighted the importance of staff well-being and workplace safety as integral components of a productive and conducive working environment. A safe, supportive, and well-equipped campus environment plays a vital role in fostering creativity, innovation, collaboration and sustained academic excellence.
Overall, the roadshow marked another significant step in strengthening OYAGSB KL’s infrastructure, digital readiness, and institutional capacity to support impactful research, industry engagement, and thought leadership in business and management education. – Prof. Madya Dr. Syahida Abdullah
