KUALA LUMPUR, 13 May 2026: The Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB) recently conducted an engagement session with its postdoctoral staff as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination, enhance collaboration, and reinforce excellence in academic and research activities.

The session served as an important platform to clarify the roles and responsibilities of postdoctoral staff, particularly in relation to key performance indicators (KPIs) involving teaching, scholarly publications, research support, and academic supervision. Discussions also emphasised the significant role of postdoctoral researchers in advancing research projects and contributing to OYAGSB’s broader agenda of academic excellence and research impact.

In addition, matters related to workstation arrangements were discussed, with postdoctoral staff given the flexibility to be based either at the OYAGSB Kuala Lumpur campus or the main campus, depending on operational requirements and the nature of their work responsibilities.

The engagement session also addressed several administrative and professional matters, including office attendance, punch-in procedures, and professional commitment, aimed at fostering a productive, efficient, and conducive working environment.

The session was led by YBhg. Datuk Professor Ts. Dr Norazah Mohd Suki, Deputy Dean of Academic and International Affairs, OYAGSB, who expressed her appreciation for the expertise, commitment, and contributions of the postdoctoral staff towards strengthening the school’s research ecosystem.

“The involvement of postdoctoral staff will further enhance OYAGSB’s publication achievements and research productivity, while at the same time providing meaningful academic and professional development opportunities for the researchers themselves,” she said.

The engagement session reflects OYAGSB’s continuous commitment to cultivating a collaborative academic culture and reinforcing  research excellence through strategic human capital development and scholarly engagement.
