TISSA-UUM Strengthens Strategic Collaboration with Accountant General’s Department

PUTRAJAYA, 7 June 2026: A delegation from the Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy, Universiti Utara Malaysia (TISSA- UUM), paid a courtesy visit to the Accountant General’s Department of Malaysia last Friday.

The TISSA-UUM delegation, led by UUM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr Ahmad Martadha Mohamed was received by the Accountant General of Malaysia, Tn. Haji Nasran bin Omar at the Ministry of Finance Complex, Putrajaya.

Prof. Dr Ahmad Martadha Mohamed said that the courtesy visit served as a platform to discuss various matters of mutual interest, particularly opportunities for cooperation covering various aspects of bilateral collaboration to further strengthen the public service and academic sectors.

This collaboration is expected to enhance competencies and provide continuous benefits to both the higher education institution and government agency, particularly in supporting the development of human capital for the country’s public sector by leveraging the TISSA-UUM’s academic expertise in various accounting development programmes.

Also present during the courtesy visit were TISSA-UUM Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr Raja Haslinda Raja Mohd Ali; Deputy Dean (Research & Innovation), Assoc. Prof. Dr Saliza Abdul Aziz, programme coordinators and the Assistant Registrar.
