KUALA LUMPUR, 6 November 2025: The Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB) successfully hosted a Round Table Discussion (RTD) that brought together alumni from its Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of Business Management (MBM) programmes.

The session served as a dynamic platform for alumni to share their experiences, reflect on their academic journeys, and provide constructive feedback on their time at OYAGSB. Through open dialogue, participants offered insights aimed at enhancing the quality, relevance, and delivery of the school’s postgraduate programmes.

Alumni highlighted opportunities to strengthen academic support, deepen industry linkages, and enrich the overall student learning experience. Their input forms part of OYAGSB’s broader commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that its programmes remain responsive to evolving industry demands and aligned with international standards.

“We believe our alumni’s perspectives are invaluable in shaping the future direction of our programmes. OYAGSB will continue to engage with our graduates to ensure we deliver impactful learning experiences that meet the needs of both professionals and industries,” said Dr. Gunalan, Alumni Director of OYAGSB.

Among the participants was Nik Nurul Fatima Az-Zahra Mohd Rosli, an MBA graduate, who expressed her appreciation for the initiative, “It feels great to be part of the OYAGSB family again. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts and contribute back to the institution that helped shape my career.”

Currently serving in a middle management role, Nik Nurul Fatima shared how the knowledge and strategic thinking developed during her MBA studies at OYAGSB helped her to secure a prestigious international training programme in Sweden — an opportunity typically reserved for top executives. Her success stands as a testament to the strong academic foundation and leadership capabilities instilled through OYAGSB’s MBA programme.

Through initiatives like the Round Table Discussion, OYAGSB continues to strengthen its bond with alumni while reaffirming its mission to nurture visionary and strategic leaders for business and society. The School remains steadfast in its commitment to developing graduates who will contribute meaningfully to organisational excellence and national progress.
