HRH the Raja Muda of Kedah, Pro-Chancellor of UUM Consented to an Audience with the Chairman of the UUM Board of Directors and the Vice-Chancellor
ALOR SETAR, 13 JANUARY 2025: His Royal Highness (HRH) Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, the Raja Muda of Kedah, graciously consented to an audience with the Chairman of the Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Board of Directors, Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shukor Mahfar, and the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Dr Mohd Foad Sakdan, at the Meeting Room, Wisma Darul Aman, today.
The purpose of the audience was to apprise HRH on the commercialisation efforts involving UUM’s facilities, the UUM Golf Club, and the proclamation of the Sultan Sallehuddin Chancellery Building as well as the Sultan Sallehuddin Golf Club.
HRH the Pro-Chancellor was also apprised on UUM’s significant growth in revenue generated from the rental of university facilities and amenities.
In addition, Dr Mohd Foad also apprised HRH of the upcoming Hari Raya Banquet Ceremony scheduled for next April. During the event, UUM plans to inaugurate the Sultan Sallehuddin Chancellery Building and the Sultan Sallehuddin Golf Club, subject to the date set by HRH the Sultan of Kedah, the Chancellor of UUM.
The Vice-Chancellor also sought His Royal Highness’s esteemed guidance and advice in the development of the Sultan Sallehuddin Golf Club, ensuring its long-term benefits for future generations.
Also present at the audience were the Director of the Chancellery, Mr. Mohd Zulkifli Mohd Noor and the Director of the Corporate Communications Department, Mr. Bakhari Che Mohamed Ariff.
