UUM Strengthens Global Presence at Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan
KUALA LUMPUR PAVILION, 22 July 2025: Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) proudly took part in the Higher Education Week, a prestigious initiative organised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), held at the Malaysia Pavilion, in conjunction with Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, from 21 to 26 July.
Aptly themed, Study in Malaysia, the event served as a strategic platform to spotlight the excellence of Malaysian higher education institutions (HEI) to the international community, particularly Japan. Throughout the week, visitors were treated to a vibrant array of contents, services and interactive activities.
UUM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohd Foad Sakdan who was present at the pavilion, expressed UUM’s unwavering commitment to expanding its international networks and introducing its wide-ranging academic programmes to students from around the world.
UUM will continue to champion MoHE’s mission to elevate Malaysia’s standing as a hub for world-class education through strategic alliances, innovative promotion, and active global engagement.
