KUALA LUMPUR, 29 October 2025: His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, the Raja Muda of Kedah and Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), graciously granted an audience to the UUM Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dato’ Dr Mohd Foad Sakdan at Darul Aman Palace, Kuala Lumpur.
The audience served as an opportunity to apprise His Royal Highness of the upcoming 38th Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Convocation Ceremony and the admission of new students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In addition, Prof. Dato’ Dr Mohd Foad Sakdan also graciously apprised His Royal Highness of the refurbishment of the VVIP Room and maintenance requirements of the Sultan Sallehuddin Golf Club Course, including efforts to secure sponsorships for UUM student golfers.
His Royal Highness was further informed about the forthcoming Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Universiti Utara Malaysia and Management and Science University (MSU), which is currently in the process of finalising a suitable date for the signing ceremony.
During the audience, the Vice-Chancellor had the honour to seek the gracious consent of His Royal Highness to continue bestowing his guidance and wise counsel in efforts to further enhance the go-kart sport facilities at Universiti Utara Malaysia.
Also present were Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Prof. Dr Mohd Azizuddin Mohd Sani; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Prof. Dr Ram Al Jaffri Saad; and UUM Registrar, Mr. Ahmad Rasidi Abdullah.
