OYAGSB dean delivers fintech guest lecture at BFA Uzbekistan

UZBEKISTAN, 11 May 2026: As part of its ongoing academic collaboration with The Banking and Finance Academy (BFA), Uzbekistan, the Dean of OYAGSB, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), delivered a guest lecture to postgraduate students, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to international knowledge exchange and industry-driven education.

The lecture, titled “Building Trust and Engagement in Fintech Marketing,” explored emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges within the rapidly evolving financial technology landscape. Emphasis was placed the importance of trust-building strategies, customer engagement, and the growing role of digital innovation in transforming and enhancing financial services.

Attended by approximately 50 postgraduate students, the session was conducted in an engaging and interactive atmosphere. Participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm throughout the lecture by actively contributing to discussions and posing thoughtful questions during the question-and-answer segment, particularly on the practical applications of fintech and its implications for the financial industry.

Beyond academic discourse, the session also provided students with valuable exposure to contemporary industry perspectives and global developments in fintech, enabling them to better appreciate the intersection between technological innovation and consumer behaviour in modern financial ecosystems.

This initiative reflects OYAGSB’s ongoing dedication to delivering impactful academic experiences while broadening students’ international outlook through meaningful academic and professional engagement.
