TASHKENT, 13 May 2026: In its continued effort to strengthen international academic collaboration and student engagement, the Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), conducted an engagement session with students enrolled in the joint academic programme with The Banking and Finance Academy (BFA), Uzbekistan.

Led by the Dean of OYAGSB, the session served as a meaningful platform for direct interaction between the institution and its students. Discussions centred on academic progress, learning experiences, and students’ overall wellbeing throughout the programme. The engagement also provided students with the opportunity to share feedback, insights, and perspectives on their academic journey in an open and constructive environment.
During the session, the Dean offered words of encouragement and guidance, emphasising the importance of academic excellence, adaptability, and continuous professional development in navigating an increasingly globalised and competitive landscape.
Beyond strengthening communication, the initiative also reflected OYAGSB’s student-centred approach in ensuring that learners remain well-supported despite geographical distances. The session further underscored the institution’s commitment to maintain the quality, relevance, and sustainability of its international academic programmes through continuous engagement and cross-border collaboration.
The programme concluded on a positive note, reinforcing the strong academic partnership between OYAGSB and BFA while fostering a stronger sense of connection and belonging among participating students.
