UUM Strengthens Higher Education Promotion in Indonesia through Mega Ayo Kuliah di Malaysia 2026 Programme
JAKARTA, 12 July 2026: Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Ahmad Martadha Mohamed, participated in the Mega Ayo Kuliah di Malaysia 2026 programme in Jakarta as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the promotion of Malaysian higher education and expand the recruitment of international students, particularly from Indonesia.
The programme was officiated by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, Datuk Ts. Dr Aminuddin Hassim, and brought together Malaysian higher education institutions with thousands of prospective students, parents, and strategic education partners.
In conjunction with the programme, Professor Ahmad Martadha also took the opportunity to engage with visitors at the UUM exhibition booth, where he shared information on the university’s academic programmes, learning facilities, scholarships, and the diverse study opportunities available at UUM.
UUM’s participation in the education exhibition reflects the University’s continued commitment to strengthening Malaysia–Indonesia academic relations while supporting Malaysia’s aspiration to become a world-class higher education destination.
