SINTOK, 20 July 2025: Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) has welcomed the appointment of a new member to its Board of Directors (LPU), Dato’ Dr Nadzman Mustaffa, the Deputy State Secretary of Kedah who is also the State Chief Digital Officer.
His appointment is effective from 16 July 2025 to 15 July 2028, is expected to strengthen the university’s governance with the addition of a public service professional with extensive experience in digital transformation.
The letter of appointment was presented by the Chairman of UUM Board of Directors, Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Shukor Mahfar, and was witnessed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Dr Mohd Foad Sakdan, in a brief ceremony prior to the LPU Meeting at the Senate Meeting Room.
During the same event, a professor at the School of Business Management, Prof. Dr Sany Sanuri Mohd. Mokhtar, received a letter confirming his reappointment as a board member. His renewed term is effective from 16 July 2025 until 30 April 2028.
