KUALA LUMPUR, 22 April 2026: The Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), distinguished itself on the national and international stage as the sole Malaysian institution invited to participate in the UNIMY Graduate Fair 2026, held at The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur.

Bringing together a curated mix of higher education institutions and industry representatives, the graduate fair served as a strategic platform for academic networking, institutional collaboration, and conversations centred on graduate employability. The presence of internationally renowned universities such as the University of Warwick and Newcastle University further highlighted the prestige of the event and, by extension, the significance of OYAGSB’s inclusion among its invited participants.
Representing OYAGSB at the fair was Datuk Professor Ts. Dr Norazah Mohd Suki, Deputy Dean (Academic and International), who engaged prospective students and key stakeholders through an overview of the School’s academic programmes and postgraduate study pathways. She was joined by Dr Nazahah Abd Rahim, MBA Programme Director, and Dr Norkhazzaina binti Salahuddin, Academic Director of OYAGSB.
During the fair, OYAGSB showcased its portfolio of postgraduate programmes, engaged directly with prospective students, and explored potential avenues for collaboration with participating institutions and organisations. The engagement not only amplified the School’s academic visibility, but also reinforced its role as a credible and competitive player in the evolving landscape of postgraduate business education.

“The fair enabled prospective students to gain clearer insight into the academic pathways available at the School, while also allowing OYAGSB to cultivate meaningful connections with potential institutional and industry partners,” said Professor Dr Hasnizam Shaari, Dean of OYAGSB.
More broadly, the School’s presence at the UNIMY Graduate Fair 2026 marks another important step in strengthening OYAGSB’s profile as a destination for high-quality postgraduate business education. It also enhances UUM’s reputation for academic excellence, strategic outreach, and growing prominence within the higher education ecosystem. – Nur Afiqah Abu Bakar
