SINTOK, 22 June 2026: The Centre for International Affairs and Cooperation (CIAC) together with the Global Buddies Club (GBC) and the International Students Society (ISS), participated in the Karnival Inovasi Kokurikulum MADANI Kebangsaan 2026 (KIK-MADANI 2026) by setting up an interactive booth that celebrated the richness and diversity of cultures from around the world.
The exhibition featured an array of traditional games, cuisines, cultural artefacts, and traditional attire representing various countries. Through these displays, both local and international students were given the opportunity to gain insights into different cultures and traditions, thereby fostering greater appreciation, mutual understanding, and intercultural exchange among students of different nationalities.

Visitors to the booth actively participated in a range of activities, particularly the traditional games, which provided an enjoyable and engaging learning experience. The exhibition created a vibrant and interactive environment that encouraged meaningful interactions between local and international students while strengthening bonds of friendship and cultural appreciation.
The participation of CIAC, GBC and ISS in KIK-MADANI 2026 reflects their commitment to promoting cultural diversity and fostering an inclusive campus environment. More importantly, the initiative underscored their shared aspiration to strengthen global engagement and cultivate lasting international friendships within the university community. – Cheow Le Xuan
